The inspiration for the logo was the Statue of Freedom located on the Gellérthegy. The statue is one of the most iconic sights of Budapest, the Hungarian capital. It represents freedom, equality and an unquestionable right to live. Eurovision Song Contest has a similar message and atmosphere so I was sure I was going to make the statue a basic logo element.
The silhouette of the statue is filled with Kalocsai pattern, which is a widely known traditional Hungarian pattern on clothes, furniture etc.
